About

Built Through Experience

Capto was founded with a simple observation: finance teams run the core operations of companies, yet many of their processes remain painfully manual.

Our Story

Why Capto Exists

The team behind Capto comes from backgrounds in finance operations, advisory, and technology, including experience within the Big Four environment and international companies.

They experienced firsthand how much time was lost on repetitive work: data consolidation, reporting preparation, invoice handling, reconciliations, and compliance processes.

Automation existed, but it often came with significant drawbacks: expensive enterprise software, long consulting projects, and rigid tools that did not adapt to real workflows.

We believed there was a better way.

Capto was created to help organizations adopt automation and AI in a practical and sustainable way. Instead of selling tools or licenses, we build custom automation and AI agents that companies fully own.

Beliefs

Our Client Principles

🔑

Ownership matters

Organizations should own the automation that runs their operations — including the code, logic, and infrastructure. This ensures long-term flexibility and independence.

🔍

Transparency is essential

Automation cannot be a black box. Systems must remain auditable and understandable, especially in finance environments where reliability and compliance matter.

🚀

Start small, scale fast

Successful automation initiatives begin with focused, high-impact processes, deliver measurable value quickly, and expand from there.

🤝

Community & Relationship-Driven Sales

Capto has grown primarily through relationships and our continuous networking. Our connections most often start with people and businesses we genuinely enjoy and admire.

We invest greatly to support collaboration between our community of finance leaders, entrepreneurs, and other professionals who share an interest in improving how organizations operate.

For us, the best results come from shared curiosity, real conversations, and a sincere interest in helping businesses grow through the responsible use of automation and AI.

💪

Bootstrapped

Capto is proudly bootstrapped.

The company has grown through client work and reinvestment rather than external funding. This independence allows us to prioritize long-term relationships, sustainable solutions, and consistent delivery for our clients.

Have Fun

Building technology should also be enjoyable.

At Capto we value curiosity, creativity, and the freedom to explore ideas, whether discussing automation with finance leaders or sharing passions like travel, sailing, and entrepreneurship.

Because the best innovations often emerge when people enjoy what they build together.

Let's Build Together

Our best collaborations start from a conversation with no pressure or expectations. We'd love to get to know you.
