Day 2 of the AI Motorbike Tour: Serbia 🇷🇸
Finance, AI, motorbike… and a notebook full of ideas.
The day started early in Sofia, with that special feeling of excitement before crossing valleys, roads, and eventually the Serbian border.
Not long after arriving, I had the chance to meet Nikola Pejovic, who is working on Lean Finance.
We had such an interesting conversation, mixing our experiences in Finance and AI, Agentic AI on my side, and exchanging a lot of insightful thoughts.
We even discussed an internal use case we built around financial reporting with Florian Linz (the IT startup finance dashboard).
And Nikola gave me what might be the best compliment of the trip so far:
“Thanks, this was definitely not a sales pitch.”
Exactly. That is the whole point.
Then, the adventure went a little sideways.
The timing was already tight, and then the rain came. Not once. Multiple waves.
If you saw someone topless on the side of the road changing layers again and again… yes, that was probably me.
That made me a little late, but I still managed to meet David Stokic, and we went deep into Finance, AI agents, and the infrastructure needed to make them actually work.
Notebook in hand, of course.
Then came an unexpected but great moment: Kristina Maksic arrived a bit earlier, so we all joined together and shared information, experience, knowledge, and feedback.
Each of us brought something valuable to the table literally!
And honestly, it made me quite emotional.
Because this is exactly what I dreamed of when growing Capto:
building impactful things, sharing knowledge, meeting interesting people, and creating real conversations around what AI can actually do in Finance.
Today was a pure success.
And that was only Day 2.
Tomorrow: Budapest 🇭🇺
Let us know if you want to join the road.
Vrooming regards,
Alexis
P.S. Special thanks an credit to Peter Steube who made all this possible!
