AI industry is now defined by not one, but two, "𝟵𝟬%" headlines

1️⃣First it was Massachusetts Institute of Technology's State of AI in Business 2025 which revealed that 95% 𝘰𝘧 𝘎𝘦𝘯𝘈𝘐 𝘱𝘪𝘭𝘰𝘵𝘴 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘭 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘦.
2️⃣More recently it's coming from National Bureau of Economic Research who released that 90% 𝘰𝘧 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘮𝘴 𝘴𝘢𝘪𝘥 𝘈𝘐 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘩𝘢𝘥 𝘯𝘰 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘵 𝘰𝘯 𝘦𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘰𝘺𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘰𝘳 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘦𝘦 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴.

Which is fine by Capto because ever since data like this was first released, we were quick to begin stating that well, "we are the 10%". This is not because we're arrogant either, it took us well over 100 projects to get the recipe right.

That's a lot of learning experiences that can't be condensed into a single post. Alexis and I talk about them all the time, but here's the principles that drive our success:

🤖𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹, 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁 - pragmatic, simple, automated processes that are focused on delivering value quickly then expanding with AI layers for further optimization.
🤖𝗢𝘄𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 - build custom to your processes and in fungible environments, otherwise you're just adding another force fit tool onto your already complex list of technical dependencies.
🤖𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 - no black boxes, auditable and understandable, the foundation for compliance and reliability.
