"Is this even AI?!?!" 👀

Thankfully the line of questioning isn't as intense as the image or headline suggests😈

Though it's a common point that we often address at Capto. It aligns to our model of deploying pragmatic and iterative processes... so that they actually work and stay in production.

You may have seen other posts about the line out the door of people rushing toward building AI Agents straight away, but ignoring the foundation of a successful purely logic-based Automation first. [see comments for examples]

When we consult on use-cases and suggest rolling out AI & Automation in phases... This is where the minor "witch hunt" emerges.

Though we're keen to see clients quickly "put down their pitchforks" when they align with us that structured process, exceptions, and optimization comes first... Then comes layers of AI intelligence - not the other way around and not all at once to start...

Happy to be tied up, yelled at, and even a bit of rotten food - if it means we end up on the right side of real and sustainable AI deployments for our clients.
