"The days are long but the years are short." - I hadn't heard the phrase until I became a parent, but now it also makes sense professionally.
Today marks the 5-year anniversary of Capto 🎉
What not everyone in our recent network might realize is, WOW - I was there from the beginning and boy time flies!
Why are the "years short"? Because I do remember it fondly. Meeting Alexis Chevallot and Marchela Georgieva when they were in multiple exotic and enviable locations, before setting up shop in Bansko 🇧🇬. The reason my memory is so strong is that the things we talked about then, stay true in many cases today. 𝘊𝘰𝘥𝘦-𝘣𝘢𝘴𝘦𝘥, 𝘤𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘰𝘸𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱, 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵, 𝘴𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘫𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘥𝘳𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘴 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘥. It's so interesting to realize that that while so much has changed in the last 5 weeks, let alone the past 5 years, in the Automation & AI market - but the things we believed in at the time stay the same. Alexis and Marchela truly had a futuristic vision.
Now, why are the "days long"? Because as an official member of the team since almost 1 year ago. The challenge of educating and standing out in the market, while still actually delivering, persists. Even more so now it has been accelerated by the sheer volume of entrants and thought leaders that present what in actuality are "demo-ready" solutions. It takes a balance of hard work to somehow evolve, yet have the conviction to stand tall on what still drives results.
Three cheers to all of Team Capto for...
👏5 years of existence!
👏Working automation & AI projects!
👏Bootstrapped & sustainable business models!
Excited to be along for the ride!
