AI Agents for expenses, fixing a nightmare of restaurant receipts

In the last years, we’ve built a few *expenses* Agents...
This nightmare of pictures to collect, reconcile... well, here are my insights

1️⃣ The problem is not matching, it’s the exceptions
95% of transactions? Clean, almost a happy process...
The real art... the remaining 5%... duplicates, receipts that don’t match the amount, wrong payment method, bad photographs... 🗑️
A well-built agent matters... triggering the right action.

3️⃣ Another determining element of a good agent

🧾 knowldge about the sources

🔢 The forgotten element.. reconciliation nightmare?
€100... $107 on card reported as $110 😁 I was rounding more than this on my car expenses before... Now I realized finance team multiply that across thousands of transactions... and have to explain why 10.000 difference at the end of the month.
