We had to automate our invoicing process at Capto.

Why? How?
Let’s start with why:
After months of growth, we finally reached a level where we had to start automating our own finance processes.

This started a few months ago, when Florian joined, as it was becoming too much. From then on, we got organized and set clear processes.

And it quickly became obvious that our time was better spent doing anything but this…

Problems?
🈳 We have Bulgarian clients, which means we must follow B2B (Bulgarian-to-Bulgarian) standards, including Cyrillic.
💶 We have clients in the EU and in Bulgaria, so one process had to handle the specificities of both areas, especially VAT.
💎 Some clients have extra options, like consulting hours.

Well, we finally did it… I can’t imagine how people managed when all this was still on paper!

How?
