How much time does your Finance team spend moving data around?

Had a short conversation with a CFO this week.
I asked a simple question:
“How much of your team’s time is still spent moving data around?”

He smiled.
“Too much.”

Not analysis.
Not decisions.
Not strategy.

Just moving data between systems.
Excel ➡️ ERP
ERP ➡️ Reporting
Email ➡️ Accounting

Finance teams didn’t study finance for this, yet it is something I have heard again and again over the years in Finance.
This is exactly where we see days being saved from people who are tired of the old jazz.
Last client we onboarded, we are currently saving several days of work e-v-e-r-y month...

How much time does your finance team still spend moving data around?
