How Scaling Made Me Do the Unscalable ✉️

Capto was founded in 2021.
And since then… I haven’t really been myself.

Why?
Because scaling a company means doing everything… except the things that make you, you.

I’m not great at doing everything.
But I am great at building teams that move fast.
(Sorry team 😅 we move faaaast.)

And one thing that’s always been “me” is: postcards.
Yep. Real, old-school postcards. ✉️

📬 Fun facts:
▶️ I’ve sent around 1,000 postcards in my life.
▶️ It’s the first thing I do when I arrive somewhere new.
▶️ I’ve mailed cards from every continent, often from the most remote boxes in Europe.
▶️ My grandma has probably received 100 by now ❤️

For years, I wanted to bring that in Capto, but when you’re putting out fires and growing fast, those “human things” fall through the cracks.

Until now.

Because today, I finally have the A-team… the kind of team that gives you your time and creativity back.
Which reminded me of something Jesse Itzler once said that stayed with me:

“I used to hand write 10 ‘thank you’ letters a day… every day…”

So in the last 2 weeks… I started sending thank-you postcards.
Not for clients. Not for leads.
Just for people who inspired me to build, dream, and keep going.
